Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai fighter from Peru, and mixed martial arts athlete fighting for UFC. UFC at the flyweight division,, is an Kyrgyzstani. She's older than her fellow UFC Fighter and the former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko started her journey into fighting sports by becoming a Muay Thai boxer. Shevchenko made her debut in the IFMA World Championship Tournament of 2003. Shevchenko defeated Suzane McKell in the finals by unanimous decision. Antonina was awarded a medal of silver in 2007, a medal of bronze in 2008 and a medal with gold in 2011. Then she was named IFMA World Amateur Muay Thai Champion 2016 by the IFMA. Antonia began her professional journey in 2003, and she won the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012 the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016 and the WMC as well as the Phoenix FC World Championships in the year 2016. Antonina's final fight was with Isa Tidblad Keskikangas at Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won the fight via unanimous decision. Antonina Shevchenko made her first professional MMA record in 2002 at KFK's Cup in Kyrgystan in a fight with Anara Bayanova. She was victorious in the second round TKO after which she won 2 additional fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to earn a 3-0 record. Shevchenko took a break from MMA so that she could focus on kickboxing. She made her comeback against Anissa haddaoui, at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko beat Anissa via unanimous decision as well as defeated Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. Following the league's dissolution in the year 2018, Shevchenko enrolled into Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina used superior striking to TKO Nievera by knees to her body during the fight. Antonina Shevchenko was awarded a UFC contract after the victory. Antonina Shevchenko was able to make her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Strikes Finale in the fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko took the win by unanimous decision, but she lost her next fight against Roxanne Modafferi in a split decision. Antonina rebounded from her loss to beat Lucie Pudilova via rear-naked choking submission during the second round of UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the extra fight of the night for this fight. Shevchenko lost to Katlyn as well as Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She won over Ariane Lipski, but beat Ariane. Recently Antonina lost to Casey O'Neill at UFC Fight Night Santos vs. Walker via second-round TKO.
